"Constant kindness can accomplish much. As the sun makes ice melt, kindness causes misunderstanding, mistrust, and hostility to evaporate." -Albert Schweitzer.
Being kind to one another is one the simplest acts you can share with another person.
It can be done as you hold the door open for the person behind you, as you share a smile with a stranger on the street, when you give a compliment to a coworker, or offer to pick up an object that a child drops.
1 in 5 adults will experience mental illness this year. People are struggling everyday: financially, physically, or emotionally. Even though it may not be visible, it doesn't mean there isn't an internal battle occurring.
Sharing positivity and kindness helps to limit the stigma associated with mental illness as it allows everyone to feel less shame or about what they are experiencing.
